I’m Amara;

I've always liked the idea that there's more to a person than first impressions suggest. On the surface, I'm a feminine, soft-spoken brunette with a fondness for pretty things and good manners. Get to know me, though, and you'll find a curious mind, a slightly irreverent sense of humor, and a mischievous streak that tends to make itself known once we're comfortable.

Outside of this little corner of my life, I'm something of a homebody with a wandering spirit. I love slow mornings, cooking something unnecessarily elaborate, getting lost in a good book, and finding an excuse to go to the movies. But I'm just as easily tempted by a spontaneous getaway, an unfamiliar city, or a conversation that sends me down a rabbit hole about something I knew absolutely nothing about an hour earlier. I like people who have stories to tell, especially the ones they don't usually get around to sharing.

I'm naturally affectionate, with long dark hair, warm tan skin, soft curves, and a few freckles for good measure. My style is distinctly feminine, though I find there's something equally appealing about getting dressed up for a beautiful evening and eventually finding an excuse to get comfortable. I keep my face discreet online, but I promise there's a lovely smile waiting on the other side of the blur.

When we’re together…

I think the best company has a way of making the outside world feel a little farther away.

There's a particular moment I love, somewhere between the first hello and the second glass of wine, when the conversation finds its rhythm and the initial nerves give way to something much more interesting. Perhaps we're laughing about something ridiculous, debating a completely inconsequential subject, or discovering that we have far more in common than either of us expected.

I enjoy getting to know the person across from me, and I hope you'll bring your curiosity along, too. Tell me about the things you love, the places you've been, or the strange little interests you rarely get to indulge in polite company. I'm a good listener, but hardly a quiet audience, and I've been known to ask a few questions of my own.

Thoughtfulness and kindness go a long way with me, as does a man who is comfortable being himself. There's no need for grand performances or perfectly rehearsed conversation. We can dress up, make reservations, and enjoy an evening worth remembering, or discover that the best part of our plans is having nowhere else we need to be.

And while there's a certain charm to meeting someone new, I have an especially soft spot for the familiarity that comes with seeing each other again. The private jokes, the remembered details, the easy affection, and that lovely feeling of picking up exactly where we left off.

After all, good company changes everything.
