I’m Amara;

As a companion in New York City, first impressions only tell part of the story. I’m feminine, affectionate, endlessly curious, and much more down-to-earth than you might expect. There’s a slightly dry sense of humor beneath the polish, and once I’m comfortable, a playful side that doesn’t stay hidden for very long.

I’m happiest when life has a good mix of things in it. Yoga keeps me grounded, I love cooking when I have someone to cook for (or an overly ambitious recipe to attempt), and there’s usually a book somewhere in my bag. I’m a frequent moviegoer, an enthusiastic traveler, and naturally curious about places and people different from what I already know. Give me somewhere unfamiliar to wander and I’ll happily figure out the rest as I go.

Physically, I’m all softness: long dark hair, warm tan skin, natural curves, and a heritage that can be a little difficult to place. My style leans distinctly feminine, whether I’m getting dressed up to go somewhere special or keeping things considerably more comfortable behind closed doors. And yes, the freckles are a cute touch. I blur my face publicly for discretion, but rest assured, I’m just as lovely from the neck up.

I want you to feel like you can relax around me.

There’s a moment I particularly love when we’ve gotten past the introductions and everything becomes easier. Conversation starts wandering, we’ve already found something to laugh about, the flirting is no longer particularly subtle, and whatever nerves we arrived with have disappeared.

I’m genuinely interested in the people I spend time with, but you won’t be carrying the conversation alone. I have opinions, stories, questions, and plenty of personality of my own. Tell me what you’ve been excited about lately. Introduce me to something I know nothing about. Let’s disagree about something completely inconsequential and see who gives in first.

I appreciate thoughtfulness, kindness, confidence, and people who communicate well. You don’t need to perform for me or turn our time together into something elaborate. Sometimes the best plans are beautifully considered; sometimes the best part is abandoning the plan altogether.

I’m affectionate and attentive by nature. I notice the little things, remember what you like, and have a particular soft spot for the familiarity that develops when we see each other again. The private jokes get better. The initial butterflies turn into anticipation. And we get to discover a little more of each other every time.
